The Barbershops and Books Summer Reading Program is up and running!! Thank you all for your support in this Harford County Literacy Chapter’s altruistic literacy project this summer. We know students getting haircuts will really enjoy the selection of Easy, Average, and Challenging non-fiction books. Please stop in to see the wonderful non-fiction books donated by teachers and schools across Harford County who were willing to take part in our summer promotion asking students to READ, READ, READ whenever possible. This program will be active through August 2025. Here are the participating barbershops:
